Services & Products: Floor Flatness: Flatness Testing : The FACE TR34 Profileograph

The FACE Digital TR34 Profileograph is designed to measure and check compliance with all three properties of the Concrete Society's Technical Report 34 (TR34) defined traffic specification.

Until the 2003 revision of TR34, the tolerances for defined traffic floors was detailed in Table 7.1. The 2003 edition has identical tolerance limits detailed in Table 4.3.

With current UK construction methods it has been demonstrated that there is a loophole in the way in which floors are tested to this specification and Face Consultants would strongly recommend that floors are specified using the set of measurement criteria detailed in Appendix C of TR34 (2003 edition).
