As of January 2006, Face Consultants are the only company in the UK to be approved by UKAS to test floor flatness to the TR34 Specifications and for Abrasion Resistance Testing.
UKAS is recognised by the Government as the UK national accreditation body responsible for assessing and accrediting organisations in the fields of inspection, measurement, testing and certification of systems, products and personnel.
Identifying a UKAS accredited ISO 17025 testing body is easy. Look for the Royal Crown mark as proof of accreditation (picture right).
Face Consultants are UKAS accredited to BS.EN ISO/IEC 17025 ‘General Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’ to carry out floor flatness testing to the Concrete Society’s Technical Report No. 34 (TR34), and accelerated abrasion resistance testing to check compliance with BS 8204-2:2003.
